Founded in 2005 in Luanda, Banco BIC is a financial institution that has a dedicated department for its oil and gas portfolio which provides financial support and services and fosters commercial development for public and private companies. 

Under Hugo Teles’ leadership as the CEO of the company, the drive for  innovative solutions has lifted up the bank as a leader in private sector credit lending in Angola and aims to cover the entire energy value chain.

  • Insurance: Banco BIC set up a dedicated insurance entity BIC Seguros in 2014 that specialises in energy infrastructure developments.
