Chevron Nigeria

One of the largest oil producers in Nigeria, Chevron Nigeria is active in onshore, near-shore, offshore and deepwater assets. Present in Nigeria since 1913, the company is involved in both E&P blocks and gas processing projects.

  • Agbami: Chevron Nigeria operates the Agbami field (67.3%), one of the country’s largest deepwater discoveries.
  • Delta: The company has a 40% interest in eight concessions in the onshore and near-onshore regions of the Niger Delta under a joint-venture deal with NNPC.
  • Deepwater: Chevron Nigeria has interests in nine deepwater licences.

Among its other key assets, Chevron operates the Escravos Gas Plant, Escravos GTL facility and Sonam Field Development Project. The company is the largest stakeholder in the 678-kilometre West African Gas Pipeline, with a 36.7% interest. Chevron has a 103,000-barrel storage and loading facility in Apapa.
