This year’s forum, to be held at the Raffles Dubai Hotel, will concentrate on the increasing threat of terrorism, particularly as it relates to the rise of Islamic State militants and their sympathisers. The Islamic State group and similar organisations targeted oil and gas facilities and workers in 2014 and pose a significant threat to the industry globally.
The event is organised by business information group International Research Networks. Topics to be addressed include evacuation planning, cyber security, business continuity and crisis management planning. Speakers at the forum will include senior-level experts from a wide range of specialities in the security sector.
