Abu Dhabi International Downstream

The 2016 Abu Dhabi International Downstream Summit is co-hosted by the Abu Dhabi Refining Company Takreer and will take place on May 8-10, 2016. The summit will provide a platform to discuss market dynamics, highlight new projects and latest technologies that are shaping the refining and petrochemicals sectors.

In times when margins are tighter and companies must be more careful in managing their budgets, there is much optimism in Middle East’s downstream sector. Even though the region is experiencing the same tighter margins as the rest of the world, the Middle East is pushing ahead with downstream expansion projects such as the Al Zour refinery in Kuwait and the Liwa Plastics project in Oman.
