The Oil & Gas Year India 2015 was released at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi by Hon’ble Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. The third edition of The Oil & Gas Year focused on India directs special attention to the new government’s policies and efforts to attract foreign investment in India’s energy industry. The book was released as part of Petrofed’s Annual Awards Ceremony, during which Hon’ble Minister for Petroleum and Natural
Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan was the chief guest, and Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Kapil Dev
Tripathi was the guest of honour.
The Oil & Gas Year India 2015 is published by Wildcat International, endorsed by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Hon’ble Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and produced in collaboration with Petrofed and the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons. “Under the endorsement of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, The Oil & Gas Year has dedicated its Year’s Focus to the Make in India campaign, highlighting the potential of the country’s manufacturing industry to work with the energy sector, and highlighting through maps and resources the increasing role played by SEZs and PCPIRs,” said Eric Gay, TOGY’s Regional Director for the Middle East and Asia.
India’s rapidly emerging gas markets and their role in further developing the country’s petrochemicals, fertiliser and power sectors is one of the central themes of The Oil & Gas Year India 2015. The edition features supplemental material including an exclusively updated map of India’s existing and planned gas infrastructure, a map of the country’s urea scenario and a current infographic about India’s gas-based power generation industry.
