Cape, Woodside strike services contract
Australia The terms of the agreement stipulate that the two companies provide services for the Karratha gas plant life extension programme. The gas plant is operated by Woodside.
The work, which will begin in the first quarter of 2016, will include a fire protection application, blasting and painting, cladding and insulation as well as pipe-spool equipment replacement and electrical services.
Covering an area of 5 kilometres, the Karratha plant has five LNG and two domestic gas trains as well as storage and loading facilities for LNG, LPG and condensate. The plant’s trains have a combined production capacity of 12,000 tonnes of gas per day.
