The Infantas Oriente-1 well encountered oil in the department of Santander, while the Cosecha V-01 and REX NE-01ST2 wells were drilled in the department of Arauca, Reuters reported.
“These three discoveries demonstrate that activity is being revitalised in two of Colombia’s traditional oil industry departments, while ratifying the benefits of the alliance between Ecopetrol and Oxy,” said Felipe Bayón, Ecopetrol’s president.
