FPU delivered to Moho Nord

Earlier on Friday, Bollore Logistics announced the successful delivery of a 60,000-tonne floating production unit (FRU) to its implementation site at the Moho Nord Block, 75 kilometres off Pointe-Noire.

Control of the FPU was transferred back to manufacturer Hyundai Heavy Industries at the site, where it will handle the engineering, provisioning, construction and installation of the unit for its deployment in the Moho Nord Block in support of Total E&P’s exploration project there

Bollore’s oil and gas manager, Benoit Mbelo, stated on the company’s website that the project is ahead of schedule, with first oil expected in Q1 2017.
