GAIL signs for green hydrogen asset in India
India The unit will be installed at GAIL’s Vijaipur Complex and will have the capacity to produce 4.3 tonnes of hydrogen per day from renewable energy.
The unit is expected to be commissioned in November 2023.
The project falls in line with the Indian government’s National Hydrogen Mission launched in 2021 that aims to make the country a regional green hydrogen hub.
Cost of the development and contractor were not disclosed.
