Gazprom and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation sign MoU

Gazprom and state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding for co-operation in the fields of LNG, liquefied hydrocarbons gases and other petrochemicals projects, the Russian gas giant announced Tuesday.

The agreement also spans scientific, technical and investment areas.

Alexey Miller, Gazprom chairman, and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation CEO Nizar Al Adsani signed the deal in Sochi, where Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Emir of Kuwait, Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, were holding official talks.
