German Business Council in Kuwait and The Energy Year sign MoU

The German Business Council Kuwait (GBCK) has signed an MoU with The Energy Year to support the production of The Energy Year’s upcoming Kuwait 2024 report.

The Energy Year’s team in Kuwait signed the deal earlier this month with Marion Chehab and Frederic Saada, board members at the GBCK. The agreement will see The Energy Year co-operate with the GBCK, a non-profit organisation which fosters relations between German, Austrian and Swiss entities and Kuwaiti companies, to shed light on the domestic business energy landscape by investigating the market and its most dynamic players through interviews conducted with the executives of relevant GBCK member companies, among others.

The partnership will give GBCK members the opportunity to discuss the most relevant initiatives ongoing within Kuwait’s energy and industrial value chains, representing a privileged stage for them to share their thoughts on their companies’ key recent undertakings and the main opportunities and challenges encountered in conducting their activities in Kuwait.

At the same time, The Energy Year will benefit from the GBCK’s rooted knowledge of the Kuwaiti business environment, a vital element in shaping this upcoming publication.  The Energy Year Kuwait 2024 will be launched at a ceremony featuring the GBCK as a sponsor.

Both parties are excited to collaborate on The Energy Year’s 9th edition on Kuwait’s energy industry and undertake joint efforts to portray the country’s resilience and reliability as a partner for meeting the world’s growing energy demand. The report will showcase the landmark projects carried out in Kuwait’s energy industry, providing local companies with an international stage to establish long-lasting partnerships, as well as attract foreign capital and new technologies.
