GoM production down ahead of Hurricane Michael
USA In preparation for the Category 3 hurricane, the production of more than 324,000 bopd and 8.04 mcm (284 mcf) of gas per day from the GoM has been halted by companies including BP, Chevron and ExxonMobil.
Hurricane Michael is expected to reach the eastern gulf coast on Wednesday.
