Indonesia will offer 40 conventional and three unconventional oil and gas blocks under gross-split PSCs. Some have been tendered but not awarded in previous years. The three unconventional blocks include two shale gas blocks and one coal bed methane block. The minister suggested the auction might take place as soon as March.
