Kuwait opens prequalification, nears Saudi deal

Kuwait has opened a prequalification round for EPC contractors, international media reported on Thursday.

International companies looking to bid for major oil and gas projects must submit documents to the Kuwaiti embassies in their home countries, MEED reported.

The news came as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia neared a deal to restart crude production at the disputed Neutral Zone between the two countries, the Wall Street Journal reported separately.
