Kuwait’s Zain signs innovation MoU with Samsung

Kuwaiti mobile telecommunications player Zain Group has signed an MoU with Samsung to collaborate on innovative solutions for market growth, international media reported on Saturday.

The deal was made on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) held in Barcelona, which took place over four days last week.

The companies have a longstanding collaboration, and the MoU provides a roadmap for its continuation, with a focus on innovative solutions.

Zain is a Kuwaiti digital service provider that works to enable the digitalisation of vital sectors. It is active across the Middle East and North Africa.

It counts 52 million active customers and reported Q1-Q3 2023 revenues of USD 4.6 billion.
