The Q4 2022 drilling campaign consisted of a workover of the Yumna-3 well – including replacing the electrical submersible pump – and the drilling of the Yumna-4 exploration well.
Production at the Yumna-3 well has risen from 3,690 boepd to 4,050 boepd with the new equipment.
The Yumna-4 well successfully hit 9.6 metres of net oil pay at the Aruma level, with production flows of 4,050 boepd.
The objective of drilling the fourth well was to study the eastern extension of the Aruma reservoir and an exploration target at greater depths and northeast of the field.
A 16.5-metre core sample is being sent for analysis for further evaluation of the site.
