New energy minister after Kazakh cabinet reshuffle
Kazakhstan The president’s decision comes amid a slowdown of the economy, mainly due to the sanctions on Russia, and pipeline issues which halted the flow of oil in the offshore field Kashagan.
A larger, reorganised Energy Ministry will manage the hydrocarbons, nuclear and electricity sectors.
