“CNR International has shut down production on the Ninian Central platform due to maintenance work currently being carried out on the asset’s fire pumps. Production will resume as soon as the maintenance work is complete,” the company said in a statement.
The Ninian field, which houses three fixed platforms, is located 144 kilometres east-northeast of the Shetland Islands in the North Sea, in blocks 3/3 and 3/8 of the UK Continental Shelf.
