Russian firms file Iran investment plans

Iran
Gazprom Neft, Zarubezhneft and Lukoil have submitted proposals to invest in several Iranian oilfields to the National Iranian Oil Company, local media reported on Tuesday.

Zarubezhneft offered to enhance recovery at the Aban and West Paydar fields, while Gazprom Neft is targeting the Changouleh and Cheshmeh Khosh fields, the semi-official Iranian news agency Press TV reported.

Together with Indonesia’s Pertamina, Lukoil is seeking to develop the Mansouri oilfield, the report added.

The news came a day after Iran’s oil minister, Bijan Zanganeh, said that his country was ready to sell oil to Russia, state news agency IRNA reported.
