Sapura wins underwater services contract in Malaysia

Malaysia’s Sapura Energy has been awarded a five-year contract from Thailand’s PTTEP to conduct Pan Malaysia subsea services for Petronas Group companies and contractors, Sapura announced on Monday.

Sapura will conduct the work in the deepwater Package B1 – Sabah for PTTEP Sabah Oil Limited and Package C1 – Sarawah for PTTEP Sarawak Oil Limited.

The scope of work comprises the provision of diving support vessels, air and saturation diving systems, remotely operated vehicles and other underwater services related to the PTTEP Sabah and PTTEP Sarawak underwater facilities.

The contract is a call-out contract with agreed unit rates. Sapura did not disclose commercial terms.
