SapuraKencana bags contracts

SapuraKencana has been handed four engineering and construction contracts with a combined worth of around USD 100 million, the company said in a filing with holding company Bursa Malaysia today.

The collection of work will see the independent E&P company provide Petronas with transportation and installation services for its Pan Malaysia development for one year ending in 2018 under an umbrella contract.

Previously, the contract for transportation and installation of the Pan Malaysia project was for three years and was estimated to be around USD 2.25 billion (MYR 10 billion) over four packages.

For Petronas Carigali, SapuraKencana will perform engineering, decommissioning, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning services on the Sepat mobile offshore production vessel, including repair work, over five months.

Also included in the slew of contracts is a 33-month contract for the procurement, construction and commissioning of the full well stream air cooler module on Petronas Carigali’s NC3CP-A platform.

In addition, SapuraKencana was awarded a nine-month engineering, preparation, removal and disposal contract for work on the Dana and D30 offshore fields off of Sarawak, which are being decommissioned by PCPP Operating Company.
