Sonangol auctions two offshore blocks

Sonangol is inviting bids for its shares in two offshore oil blocks, the Angolan NOC announced Thursday.

Sonangol’s participatory interests, 30% in Block 20/11, which holds an estimated 313 million barrels of condensate and 79.3 bcm (2.8 tcf) of gas, and 45% in deepwater exploration Block 21/09, will be offered to national and international oil companies.

The NOC will hold data showrooms about the blocks April 24-June 29 in Luanda and May 28-June 1 in Houston. Bids will be accepted through July 31, 2018.
