TechnipFMC bags offshore works in Guyana

TechnipFMC has signed an EPCI contract with super-major ExxonMobil to connect two FPSOs to onshore facilities in Guyana, the Houston-based technology provider announced on Monday.

Works include EPCI of subsea risers and pipelines that will tie the Liza Destiny and Unity FPSOs to a gas-fired power plant.

The contract costs between USD 75 million and USD 250 million.

Expected timeline for the works was not disclosed.

The deal is contingent on ExxonMobil’s FID and government approvals.
