Tenaris will supply QatarEnergy with 197,000 tonnes of welded, high-end sour service pipe, 11,800 tonnes of seamless pipe and 206 bends.
Production of these assets will take place at the company’s manufacturing yards in Brazil, Italy and Argentina.
Cost of the contract was not disclosed.
The North Field East project is the first phase of the North Field Expansion project, which will develop further gas reserves on Qatar’s North field to feed six LNG trains and increase the country’s LNG production by 64% by 2027 to 126 million tonnes.
