TotalEnergies partners for wind mooring technology

Norway
TotalEnergies has partnered with Norway’s wind energy company Semar for its offshore mooring technology, the French super-major announced on Monday.

Semar’s Honeymooring technology is aimed at reducing floating wind costs and seabed footprint. It connects with adjacent floating wind turbines to create an anchor-sharing configuration.

TotalEnergies is developing a portfolio of offshore wind assets with a total capacity of 6 GW in the UK, South Korea, Taiwan and France.
