An accident caused by a safety valve led to a pipeline burst on June 8, 2022, and saw the 15-million-tonne LNG facility shut down operations.
The incident leaked around 3,400 cubic metres (120,000 cubic feet) of LNG.
The operating company is to submit a plan to fix damages at the facility in 60 days and will be required to hire a third party to review its LNG storage tanks.
The facility is expected to restart operations October 2022 and proceed to full production by the end of the year.
