Trafigura is interested in taking on Oil Combustibles’ San Lorenzo refinery and network of around 300 petrol stations, while YPF is reported to be considering the company’s logistics and port assets. The refinery, which is located in the Santa Fe province, has been shut down since February this year.
Earlier this week, Oil Combustibles’ fuel oil and diesel stocks were put on sale and are expected to bring in around USD 15.7 million in total, which will be used to pay down the company’s future indemnities.
