Certex Angola

Certex Angola is an oilfield services provider founded in 2008. The company provides services related to lifting equipment and operations for both onshore and offshore sectors, including supply, rental, inspection, and testing and certification services. 

Activities: Certex has invested in a workshop and warehouse facility at the Sonils base in Luanda that provides one-stop-shop services. The workshop provides lifting equipment supports marine activities. The asset employs 20 people and has an outdoor area of 10,000 square metres and an indoor area of 800 square metres.

Training: The company works alongside Lifting Equipment Engineers Association in its training operations. One of Certex’s main focuses is to grow its workforce’s qualifications.

Growth strategy: Certex Angola plans to fill gaps left in the market following the Covid-19 crisis, expand its portfolio and create partnerships to increase its regional presence.
