Monjasa is a global logistics company that provides bunkering and cargo trading services to oil and shipping companies in Angola. The company opened its Angolan branch in 2020 after being present in West Africa since 2009. The local entity specialises in trading and supply of marine fuels, operating oil terminals and ship-owning activities.

Parent entity: Established in Denmark in 2002, Monjasa has become a leading global logistics player. The company has 12 offices and operators in more than 700 ports worldwide, including in Latina America, Northwest Europe, West Africa and the Middle East. The company employs more than 500 people onshore and offshore and supplies around 5 million tonnes of marine fuels per year worldwide. 

Sustainable commitment: The company’s trading and compliance departments have developed internal IMO 2020 measures to adjust to low-sulphur fuel regulations.

Local strategy: Monjasa aims to develop the local bunkering market and support Angolan refineries and oil production.
