Aradel Holdings, formerly Niger Delta Exploration & Production, is an integrated energy company headquartered in Lagos. The company has interests in oil and gas, power, and renewable assets and operates in the upstream, midstream and downstream. The company was established as an indigenous, publicly owned oil company so that the Nigerian people could have the opportunity to invest in and benefit from the nation’s oil and gas sector.

Aradel is divided into four businesses:

  • Aradel Energy: Explores opportunities in the energy sector to achieve Nigerian energy independence and operates the Ogbele and Omerelu marginal onshore fields and the OPL 227 shallow water field
  • Aradel Gas: Leverages investment opportunities in the gas sector, operates a gas-processing facility and supplies gas to Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas
  • Aradel Investments: Holds Aradel’s non-oil-and-gas investments
  • Aradel Refineries: Owns and operates the refinery at the Ogbele field

Aradel’s strategy is to be a resilient and efficient company through diversification, adaptation to the changing dynamics of the industry and diverse operational setups. With this strategy, the company aims to become the leading African company, delivering value and sustainable energy solutions. Aradel will continue to expand in the oil and gas sector and develop new verticals to develop Nigeria and contribute to the energy transition in Africa.
