In the contracting segment, Hydrotek is a specialist in mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, including HVAC installations, steam and fuel systems, and fire protection. The company engages in municipal infrastructure works, mainly supplying equipment and services for water and wastewater handling, and in facilities management, where it delivers structural elements and designs processes such as waste management, ground maintenance and security.

Hydrotek also has a dedicated environmental services division with experience in designing systems for water, air and soil treatment in a variety of locations, including buildings, transportation infrastructure, industrial sites, and oil and gas facilities.

Also through its contracting division, the company has carried out automation and electromechanical works for a number of Kuwait’s ministries and public authorities, as well as state-owned oil and gas companies. Hydrotek designs its solutions on its own premises, where it counts with a specially built panel building and testing facilities.

Hydrotek’s fabrication capabilities cover the mechanical and electrical components of a variety of glass-fused and steel tanks as well as pumps of various specifications, which the company also instals and maintains over time.

Hydrotek also specialises in data centre projects and has achieved Tier III certifications for data centres it has constructed. The company has more than a dozen specialists on staff to handle the requirements of such projects, which the company has carried out for clients such as Al Salam International Hospital and the National Bank of Kuwait.
