$2.1-bln investment for ADNOC Gas Pipelines

ABU DHABI, October 16, 2020 – The Abu Dhabi NOC’s pipelines unit will see an investment of USD 2.1 billion from the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund and state holding ADQ, ADNOC said on Thursday.


The two funds will take a 20% indirect stake in the pipelines unit, which was created earlier this year.

In June, ADNOC revealed it had sold a 49% stake in the gas pipeline business to a group of international investors, bringing in upfront proceeds of USD 10.1 billion. The deal represented one of the largest-ever global energy infrastructure agreements.
