ADNOC awards major terminal contracts

ABU DHABI, September 9, 2020 – Abu Dhabi’s ADNOC Onshore has awarded two EPC contracts worth USD 245 million to replace two main oil lines and upgrade receiving facilities at the Jebel Dhanna terminal.

The contract awards went to China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company (CPP) and local firm Target Engineering Construction Company.

CPP will replace and increase the capacity of oil lines running from the Bab, Bu Hasa, North East Bab and South East fields under a deal worth USD 135 million, with work expected to last for 30 months and 45% of spending devoted to in-country value.

Target Engineering Construction’s USD 110-million deal involves 20-month works to upgrade the crude receiving facilities at the terminal, which will allow them to receive Upper Zakum crude and non-system crude.
