Angola to hold bid round roadshow April 12

Angola’s National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG) is set to hold a roadshow for the country’s 2020 bid round on April 12.

The hybrid online/physical event will showcase the assets on offer in the ongoing competitive licensing round, which has seen delays in the context of the Covid-19 crisis.

The ANPG also announced a schedule progression of the round, running as follows:

Tender launch
Proposal submission
Opening of offers in a public setting
Evaluation and qualification of proposals
Submission of the evaluation report to the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Petroleum
Contract negotiation with winners
Signature

The bid round has put on offer blocks CON1, CON5 and CON6 in the onshore Lower Congo Basin and blocks KON5, KON6, KON8, KON9, KON17 and KON20 in the offshore Kwanza Basin.

Companies interested in participating in the event and who have not yet received the invitation can obtain it upon request by emailing licitacoeseventos@anpg.co.ao and indicating their representatives’ name, institution and function.
