Angola’s ENDIAMA Mining invests $40 million in geological prospecting
LUANDA, October 25, 2024 – ENDIAMA Mining has invested USD 40 million in the last five years in geological prospecting activities at three mining projects in the Lunda-Norte province, the company announced this week.
The investment also includes the continuation of the Uari and Luembe projects, which were under financial difficulties.
ENDIAMA Mining is a technical-operational subsidiary of ENDIAMA, the national diamond company and exclusive concessionaire of diamond mining rights in Angola.

ENDIAMA Mining director-general Pedro Galiano signalled that the preliminary results were positive in comments on the investment.
He also underlined that the prospecting phase for these three projects involves the employment of 600 youths and noted that since 2019, ENDIAMA Mining had invested more than USD 2 million in environmental intervention projects.
Regarding the company’s corporate social responsibility, he also announced that the company would start several activities from November 2024. Since 2019, ENDIAMA Mining has spent more than USD 2.5 million on social projects and support for the community, hospitals and local authorities around the mining projects.
