Chevron to raise Angola production

Sonangol and Chevron have agreed to co-operate to raise production from blocks 14 and 0, the Angolan NOC announced Tuesday.

Representatives from the two companies, including Clay Neff, Chevron’s president of exploration and production for Africa and Latin America, and CABGOC general manager John Baltz as well as Sonangol chairman Carlos Saturnino, met on the sidelines of the Offshore Technology Conference. 

Chevron currently produces 300,000 bopd in Angola.
