Civmec clinches contracts in Australia

Australia
Integrated construction and engineering services provider Civmec has signed contracts for the Gorgon and Persephone projects located in offshore Australia.

The first contract is with GE Oil & Gas for the Chevron-operated Gorgon liquefied natural gas project. Civmec will oversee the fabrication and testing of the new 24-inch subsea pig launcher and receiver.

Civmec signed the second contract with US equipment and services provider FMC Technologies for the Woodside-operated Persephone project to fabricate, treat and test a production manifold. The project is located in the country’s North West Shelf and has a planned completion date of March 2016.

“We are delighted to announce these new awards with existing clients and feel this highlights a satisfaction in the market for our service offering and demonstrates the breadth and depth of our capabilities,” Civmec’s CEO Patrick Tallon said in a press release.
