Civmec clinches contracts in Australia
SYDNEY, June 3, 2015 – Integrated construction and engineering services provider Civmec has signed contracts for the Gorgon and Persephone projects located in offshore Australia.
The first contract is with GE Oil & Gas for the Chevron-operated Gorgon liquefied natural gas project. Civmec will oversee the fabrication and testing of the new 24-inch subsea pig launcher and receiver.
Civmec signed the second contract with US equipment and services provider FMC Technologies for the Woodside-operated Persephone project to fabricate, treat and test a production manifold. The project is located in the country’s North West Shelf and has a planned completion date of March 2016.
