EnerMech wins pre-commissioning for Guyana FPSO

GEORGETOWN, March 4, 2025 – EnerMech has secured a pre-commissioning contract from SBM Offshore for the ONE GUYANA FPSO, the company said on Tuesday.

The FPSO is operated by SBM Offshore subsidiary Guyana Deepwater Operations.

EnerMech previously delivered pre-commissioning campaigns for all three FPSOs currently in operation at the Stabroek Block: Liza Destiny, Liza Unity and Prosperity. The company has also been awarded the Gas-to-Energy Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Project, covering TARs for the Destiny and Unity FPSOs.

The ONE GUYANA FPSO, commissioned by SBM Offshore for ExxonMobil Guyana, is designed to produce around 250,000 barrels of oil per day, with an associated gas treatment capacity of around 450 million cubic feet per day and a water injection capacity of approximately 300,000 barrels per day. It will be spread-moored in 1,800 metres of water and will have storage capacity for around 2 million barrels of crude oil.

Under the pre-commissioning contract, EnerMech will perform offshore risers leak testing, gas injection riser de-watering, umbilical electrical and fibre optic testing, installation of interconnecting tubing and flushing and testing equipment.
