Eni acquires Greek solar player

ATHENS, January 17, 2022 – Eni has acquired Solar Konzept Greece from German sustainable asset and development company Aquila Capital, the Italian energy company announced on Thursday.

The transaction was done through Eni’s subsidiary Eni gas e luce that has been on the Greek market since 2000.

The Hamburg-based company’s portfolio includes 800 MW worth of projects.

At the end of 2021, Eni gas e luce had a renewable capacity of 1.2 GW in renewables.

Cost of the deal was not disclosed.
