Fluor awarded Madero plant
Mexico The project is part of Pemex’s Clean Fuels Programme, which is aimed at increasing production of ultra-low sulphur diesel to meet environmental standards.
The construction will include two hydrodesulphurisation trains with a capacity of 25,000 bopd, new sulphur recovery and sour water treatment plants and the renewal of the diesel hydrodesulpherisation unit. The project is slated for completion by the first quarter of 2018.
