Forties pipeline back on line

UK
The Forties Pipeline System, the largest in the North Sea, is fully operational, operator Ineos announced on Saturday.

“All restrictions on the flow of oil and gas from platforms feeding into the pipeline system have been lifted and virtually all platforms are now on line,” the company said in a statement.

The pipeline, which has capacity of about 440,000 boepd of oil and gas liquids, or 40% of the North Sea’s crude output, was shut down on December 13 after an onshore leak.
