Iran in first Abadan oil find
Iran “This is the first time we’ve reached oil in the Abadan region,” Bijan Zanganeh, the country’s oil minister, said, cited by Reuters.
No further details of the find were immediately available. The news came as Iran has been struggling to bypass US nuclear sanctions, re-imposed by the administration of President Donald Trump in November 2018.
