Kuwaiti Emir picks new oil minister
Kuwait The appointment was made on Saturday by Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, whose new cabinet now includes five family members. The previous government was voted out in late November, with the opposition winning close to half the number of seats in the 50-member legislature.
