Larsen & Toubro lands Oman grid work

SOHAR, March 6, 2017 – India’s Larsen & Toubro has been awarded a contract by Oman Electricity Transmission Company for the construction of a 400/132 kv grid station, local media reported on Monday.

 

The award came in addition to two more agreements for a further five 132 kV substations and associated works in the UAE, bringing the total contract award value for Larsen & Toubro’s power transmission and distribution unit to some USD 1.76 billion.

The 400/132 kv grid station is to be build near Al Qabel. The project was put up for tender in June 2016 and closed two months later.
