Mubadala commences first gas in Malaysia
Mubadala Petroleum has begun production at the offshore Pegaga gasfield on Block SK 230 in Malaysia, the Emeriti E&P player announced on Monday.

The project involves an integrated central processing platform consisting of an eight-legged jacket. Production capacity is 15.6 (mcm) 550 mcf per day of gas plus condensate. The shallow-water play is 108 metres deep.

Production will be transported through a 4-kilometre pipeline to the onshore Petronas LNG project in Bintulu, Sarawak.

Mubadala is operator of the block with a 55% interest along with partners Petronas Carigali with a 25% share and Sarawak Shell holding the remaining 20%.
