NGE commissions Sinú-9 central processing facility
BOGOTA, September 17, 2024 – NG Energy International Corp. (NGE) received approval from the National Hydrocarbons Agency in Colombia to begin testing and commence early production at its Sinú-9 central processing facility, the company announced on Monday.
The processing facility is connected by a 28.3-kilometre pipeline to Promigas’s national gas transportation system at the company’s Jobo delivery point. The Sinú-9 block is located in the department of Cordoba. NG has a 72% working interest in the block.

NGE plans to deliver up to 1.13 mcm (40 mcf) per day of natural gas to the national system by H2 of 2024. The Sinú-9 block has P1 reserves of 755.61 mcm (26.7 bcf) and P3 reserves of 6.94 bcm [245.3 bcf].
