Nigeria’s First E&P brings field on line

The Anyala West field, located in the shallow waters of the Niger Delta, has commenced production, operator First E&P said.

The field, located in Oil Mining Leases 83 and 85, is an integrated oil and gas project flowing to the Abigail-Joseph FPSO, supplied by Malaysia’s Yinson.

Anyala West is being developed together with the nearby Madu field. The project’s first phase will involve seven development wells and full production is targeted at 60,000 bopd.

First E&P is an indigenous Nigerian upstream player that partnered with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on the project.
