Petroleum Development Oman wins big at OPAL awards

MUSCAT, January 19, 2024 – Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) won nine awards across the six categories in the Oman Society for Petroleum Services OPAL Awards for Best Practices, the company announced this week.
The awards included first place in the Health and Safety category, second place in Omanisation and first place in Environment & Net Zero Emissions. The company won six more awards in the Omani Products and Services, Research and Development and Operational Excellence categories.
In a statement, PDO said, “This accomplishment reflects our steadfast commitment to excellence in our operations and initiatives.”
