Repsol confirms Bolivia find

Bolivia
Repsol confirmed on Monday that it had found an additional amount of gas in the Huacaya-2 well, located in the Chuquisaca region in the southeast of Bolivia. The find, first reported last week in the press, is expected to increase production at the site by 3 mcm (106 mcf) per day.

Drilling at Huacaya 2 continues and is expected to finish in December 2016.

“[By] December, Chuquisaca will be producing 9.6 million cubic metres [339 mcf] of natural gas daily [from Margarita and Huacaya-2 fields],” Bolivian President Evo Morales told journalists.
